Privacy Policy
Effective 2026-10-26
This policy explains what personal information MAVENBITS LLC ("ReadyForCNA," "we," "us") collects when you use https://readyforcna.com, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Questions: support@readyforcna.com.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Email address, if you save your progress, sign in, buy a pass, or contact us.
- Study details you choose to add, such as your exam date, state, and exam format, and your marketing email preference.
- Pass guarantee claims: your exam date, state, format, and the score report you upload. We use the score report only to check your claim and delete it 90 days after we decide.
- Messages you send us, including reports about questions, and testimonials you agree to share.
Information created when you use the Service
- Account data. When you first start a practice test we create an anonymous account with a random ID so your progress is saved, even before you give us an email.
- Study activity: the questions you answer, your answers, time spent, scores, and your readiness score. This describes your exam practice, not your health. We don't ask for or collect medical information about you.
- Usage events, such as pages viewed and steps like starting a test or reaching checkout, which we record in our own database to understand and improve the Service.
- Device and log data, such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, collected by our hosting provider for security and reliability.
- Where you came from: the ad or link that brought you to the site (for example campaign tags and ad click IDs) and the referring page, stored in a first-party cookie and on your account.
Payment information
Payments are handled by Stripe. Stripe collects your card or wallet details directly; we never see or store your full card number. Stripe shares with us your email, the amount paid, the last four digits and brand of your card, a card fingerprint used to prevent fraud and repeat guarantee claims, and the payment status.
How we use information
- To run the Service: save progress, score tests, compute your readiness score, and give you paid access.
- To process payments, refunds, and pass guarantee claims, and to prevent fraud and abuse.
- To send service emails: sign-in links, receipts, access reminders, and, if you set an exam date, reminders around it.
- To send marketing emails, only if you opt in. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
- To measure which ads and pages work, and to improve our content.
- To comply with law, keep records for tax and accounting, and enforce our terms.
Cookies, analytics, and ad pixels
We use:
- Essential cookies to keep you signed in and to protect the site from bots.
- A first-party cookie that remembers which ad or link first brought you to the site.
- Vercel Analytics, which measures traffic without using cross-site tracking cookies.
- The Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API, and Google Ads conversion tracking, to measure whether our ads lead to visits, sign-ups, and purchases. These run only on general pages (such as the home page, pricing, guides, and the purchase confirmation page), not on practice or results pages. We may send a hashed (scrambled) version of your email to match conversions. We never send Meta or Google which topics you study, your answers, or your scores.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and limit ad personalization in your Google and Meta account settings. Some features may not work without essential cookies.
Who we share information with
We don't sell your personal information for money. We share it only with:
- Service providers that run the Service for us: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database, sign-in, and file storage), Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), Cloudflare (bot protection), and Google (sign-in, if you choose it).
- Advertising partners (Meta and Google), limited to the measurement data described above.
- Authorities, when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
- A buyer or successor, if ReadyForCNA is sold or transferred, who must keep this policy or give you notice of changes.
Sharing data with ad partners for measurement may count as "sharing" or "targeted advertising" under some US state privacy laws. You can opt out by emailing us; we also honor Global Privacy Control signals from your browser.
How long we keep it
- Account and study data: while your account exists.
- Score reports for guarantee claims: deleted 90 days after the claim is decided.
- Payment and tax records: kept as long as required for accounting and tax law, even after you delete your account, with your account link removed.
Deleting your data and your rights
You can delete your account at any time from your account page (once accounts are live) or by emailing support@readyforcna.com. Deleting your account removes your sign-in, email, study history, and other personal data. We keep payment records needed for tax and accounting, with your account reference removed.
Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct, or get a copy of your data, to opt out of targeted advertising or sharing, and to appeal a decision we make about your request. Email us to use any of these rights. We'll respond within 45 days and won't treat you differently for using them.
Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls, and private storage for uploaded files. No system is perfectly secure, so please tell us right away if you think your account has been compromised.
Children
The Service is meant for adults and older teens preparing for the CNA exam. It is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, email us and we'll delete it.
Where data is stored
We store and process data in the United States.
Changes
We may update this policy. We'll change the effective date above and, for material changes, notify account holders by email. See also our Terms of Service.
